Having spent his career finding new and exciting varieties for the Australian table, endeavours of Coriole's Mark Lloyd has been influential in the wine landscape both within McLaren Vale and Australia wide.

Coriole has pioneered several emerging varieties in Australia including Sangiovese planted in 1985, Fiano planted in 2001 and the Coriole Piquepoul vineyard planted in 2010.
