Having spent his career finding new and exciting varieties for the Australian table, endeavours of Coriole's Mark Lloyd has been influential in the wine landscape both within McLaren Vale and Australia wide.

Coriole has pioneered several alternative varieties in Australia including starting with the Sangiovese vineyard planted in 1985, the Fiano vineyard in 2001 and the Piquepoul vineyard planted in 2010.
